The Yogini Circle

As we are drawn outward on the approach to summer Solstice, our body wisdom calls us to shine. On the Yogini Path we follow the rhythms of the natural cycles, and so it is that we invite you, dear woman, to gather with us in an evening of radiance and restoration.

We will begin the evening with Tantra Yoga practices to balance the lunar and solar energies of the body and bring the mind, body spirit into a harmonious state before we begin our main practice of Ayurvedic beauty and self care rituals.

The practice of Abhyanga is a central practice in the Ayurvedic tradition, and it is a practice of ritually oiling the body with herbal nectars and unguents. The practice helps to harmonize the doshas, balance the pranas and bring harmony to the body, mind spirit.

In this workshop you will be provided with a bundle that includes Yogini Lotus Body Oil, Soma Face Oil, Vamakeshi Hair Oil, Shakti Ojas Yoni Oil, Breast Balm, Jasmine Lotus Eye Balm, Ear Oil and Nasya Oil.

We will be self-administering these oils in the workshop using Ayurvedic massage techniques. This will be a clothing optional portion of the workshop (can be done in bra and underwear).

Following the Abhyanga we will close the space with a guided practice of Yoga Nidra with sound healing provided by Mana Shams.
